Cenotes and Volcanic Lakes

Cenotes are water-filled caverns and caves... much visited by divers... streams of sunlight... gin clear water... but out of sight of natural light, they're very dangerous.
Looks just like some stalactites, except that it's underwater. The string has arrows telling you where the exit is if inconsiderate divers kick up the silt. Removing gear before getting back on the boat One of the divers was trying to find as many ways as possible to kill Zippy... here, we drowned him! An overprocessed photo of a whale shark - it passed under our boat as we slipped into the water, but had dived before I could get a shot, so the original was rather faint.
