Colombia 1

Me, paragliding. Pictures by guest photographer, Melissa Blair

Setting up at Chichamocha Canyon. Checking to see where Richard the skygod has gone. Ready to launch. Popping the canopy up. Checking it's fully inflated.
And off we go. Only paraglider pilots know why birds sing. Flying at Ruitoque near Bucaramanga. The sunset gives a wonderful backdrop. That's me top left.
Looking down on the photographer. Enjoying the view. Bucaramanga and the take-off. Sunset clouds. Planning a top landing.
Approaching the landing field. Losing height. Coming in to land. Touchdown. And collapsing the canopy.
